A pair of full-size Chinese SUVs with color schemes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, blue type 20 license plates and LED special signals were photographed in Moscow. Judging by the panoramic roof with sunroof and retractable running boards, law enforcement agencies settled on the top version, which costs from 6.9 million rubles. Previously, Tank 500 SUVs appeared in the motorcades of the Federal Security Service.
So far, two police Tank 500s are known (a1005 77 and a0299 77): both have sub-numbered frames from the capital’s dealer, identical antennas, identical liveries and colorless LED beams on the roof. The customer chose to overpay 600 thousand rubles for the maximum equipment: front differential lock, Alcantara and Nappa leather trim, massage and seat ventilation, active noise reduction system, audio system with subwoofer.
Tank 500 is a full-size gasoline frame SUV from the Great Wall concern. In Russia, the model has been sold since March 2023. All “five hundredths” are equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission with a front axle coupling, a reduction gear and a rear cross-axle differential lock. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter V6 (299 horsepower, 500 Nm), power is transmitted through a 9-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter.

The “Sinicization” of the automobile industry is facilitated by Western sanctions: Europe, the USA and Japan are limiting the supply of both new and used cars to our country.
