Evgeny Ufimtsev reported at a press conference of the Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RUA) about the shortage of necessary components. The head of the organization said that in the event of a serious accident, car services may not have the necessary parts to restore cars. Therefore, if the car requires complex repairs, owners will have to wait 30 to 40 days for spare parts.
Currently, representatives of RSA are preparing new reference books of spare parts for car repairs according to OSAGO. If the usual brands of cars in the directory account for one and a half to two million entries for components, then for Chinese brands there are 30 thousand. Thus, only the most demanded parts are kept in warehouses. Most spare parts have to be ordered.
The RSA directories contain lists of original spare parts, as well as analogues from many manufacturers. At the same time, a limited number of non-original components are available on the Russian market for Chinese cars. This situation leads to the fact that car owners have to wait up to 40 days for the necessary parts.
According to Ufimtsev, today it is important to create a spare parts market for Chinese cars. At the same time, the head of RSA emphasizes that the lack of parts is also affected by complex logistics.
The fact that difficulties with spare parts for Chinese cars have again arisen in Russia became known in early November. Then experts reported that even official dealers did not have the necessary parts.
