According to company president Lawrence Stroll, the model will get a new infotainment system in the near future. This is Aston Martin’s own system, which debuted this spring on the DB12 super tourer. It will replace the outdated system from Mercedes-Benz with a trackpad instead of a touchscreen and will likely entail a revision of the entire interior architecture.

The Aston Martin DB12, from which the DBX can borrow interior decoration, received two 10.25-inch screens. The first is a digital instrument panel under a small visor, the second is a touchscreen for the multimedia system built into the central tunnel.

The complex is distinguished by a quick response to pressing, is “friendly” with smartphones via the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless protocols, has a navigator with three-dimensional maps and is updated “over the air”. The current DBX has a media system screen of the same size, but the dashboard is larger: its diagonal is 12.3 inches.

The DBX, which debuted in 2019, continues to be Aston Martin’s sales driver. Since the beginning of the year, it has sold 2,240 units – more than half of all brand sales and plus 23 percent compared to the same period in 2022. Seventy percent of this number came from the DBX707, which outperforms the Lamborghini Urus.

The DB12 is also performing well on the market: the queue for it has already stretched to 2024, with half of the customers becoming interested in Aston Martin for the first time. Despite this, the company recently had to cut its annual sales target from 7,000 cars to 6,700 due to production problems.
