Chinese journalists got acquainted with the new Bestune model 2024. Both the exterior and interior have been globally modernized. For Russians, the update of the “seventy” is interesting because the five-door car from the FAW concern is officially sold in our country, and in the summer one of the cars was spotted at AvtoVAZ. It was believed that the Bestune B70 would be localized at the facilities of the former Nissan plant under the Lada brand.
The updated Bestune B70 has lost its Y-shaped optics and large radiator grille integrated with the headlights. Now the head light is two-tiered, the air intake slats are horizontal, and the logo has been changed. At the rear, the bumper and exhaust pipes have been redesigned: they are now trapezoidal rather than round. The palette of wheels with a diameter of 18 and 19 inches has also changed.

The interior also has plenty of improvements: a different infotainment system, a new front panel and a central tunnel with a non-locking transmission joystick. The separate climate control unit with functional washers is a thing of the past, the central tunnel has been redone, and there is a new horizontally oriented emblem on the steering wheel.

After the restyling, the Bestune B70 became 45 millimeters longer (now 4855 mm), but there may not be any technical changes. Judging by the certification documents, the five-door will retain a combination of a 2.0-liter turbo engine (224 horsepower, 340 Nm) with a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The basic units – a 1.5-liter turbo engine (169 horsepower, 258 Nm) and a preselective 7-speed robot – have not yet been confirmed.
All details about the updated FAW Bestune B70 will be known in December. The first copies of the liftback have already reached Chinese dealers, so they won’t delay sales. So far, prices for 2.0-liter cars start at 130 thousand yuan (equivalent to 1.6 million rubles). In Russia, the pre-reform B70 costs from 2.45 million rubles.
