A photo of the prototype of the future car was posted by the telegram channel “Going to Tatarstan”. According to preliminary data, the mining dump truck was named “RoboCop”. After publishing the photo, the Chelny automaker presented its pictures of the truck and also promised to make a video review of the promising model.

An unmanned KamAZ dump truck with an 8×4 wheel arrangement is being developed for work in quarries and open-pit mines. Judging by the photographs, the car received a streamlined, blind cabin with openings for cameras in place of the windshield, as well as several pylons on which the developers are going to place sensors that will allow the drone to navigate in space.

It is expected that RoboCop will receive a diesel engine, the output of which will be about 500 horsepower. At the same time, it is still unknown which manufacturer’s electronics will be installed on the dump truck.

At the end of October, BelAZ presented a 90-ton mining dump truck in St. Petersburg. The truck uses a natural gas power plant.
