The third generation model has undergone a major transformation, increased in size, but retained its three-row interior. As before, versions with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive will be available, and for the AT4 off-road version they will exclusively offer the Active Torque Control system with individual clutches in the rear wheel drive. Well, the most luxurious version will remain Denali with 22-inch wheels and interior decor made of natural wood.

The third generation GMC Acadia crossover has the honor of opening a new era for the entire SUV family of the brand. The co-platform Chevrolet Traverse has become larger, it has a stylish design, a comfortable interior for 7-8 seats and many modern electronic systems. There is only one power unit – a 2.5 turbo-four with 333 horsepower and 442 Nm of torque paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive by default. All-wheel drive is available as an option, and the Acadia AT4 will be exclusively equipped with Active Torque Control transmission with individual clutches on each of the rear wheels.

In general, the AT4 index means maximum preparation for off-road excursions. This crossover has increased ground clearance by 25 millimeters, a retuned suspension with hydraulic bump stops and All Terrain tires. Plus there’s a dirt mode, red tow lugs and skid plates integrated into the bumpers. The direct opposite of the AT4 is the Acadia Denali. This is the most luxurious version of the SUV, for which natural wood decor, a panoramic roof, a Bose audio system with 16 speakers and active noise reduction are available.

In the cabin there is a 15-inch diagonal display and an 11-inch instrument panel, standard equipment in all versions. The multimedia crossover supports Google applications and allows you to customize the screen as you wish. The cameras installed on the car provide nine viewing options, and in total there are about two dozen different assistive systems in the Acadia. Among them are automatic braking for pedestrians and cyclists, blind spot monitoring with steering function, an emergency braking system at intersections and cross-traffic control. All this will be available to try in early 2024, when the Acadia goes on sale.
