New cars in law enforcement colors have been spotted on the roads of Moscow. We are talking about SUVs of the Chinese brand Tank 500, which entered service with the metropolitan police.
These premium full-size SUVs are immediately noticeable with their massive bodywork, distinctive police livery, blue license plates and powerful LED roof lights. Judging by the panoramic roof and retractable running boards, the customer chose the top-end configuration, which costs about 7 million rubles. Let us remind you that Tank 500 SUVs also recently appeared in the fleet of the Federal Security Service. Apparently, this is a new acquisition by law enforcement agencies, which decided to update their vehicle fleet with Chinese equipment.
So far, two police Tank 500s with police license plates, antennas and equipment have been captured on the streets of Moscow. These are all-wheel drive SUVs with a powerful 3-liter V6 gasoline engine producing 299 horsepower. Transmission – automatic 9-speed. Let us recall that the Russian media have repeatedly written that Russia ranks first in the world in the purchase of Chinese cars. Against the backdrop of sanctions and restrictions on the import of cars from Europe and Asia, this trend will only intensify.
