Citroen has created a unique version of the Jumper truck, equipped with two cabs. This original option, called Back to Back, was created to deliver finished cabins to the company’s customers.
In the UK, the Citroen Relay/Jumper Back to Back model will be available for purchase at a price of £36,018, which is close to RUB 4.2 million at current exchange rates.
This model includes various options such as 15-inch wheels, air conditioning, an analog instrument panel and a multimedia system with a five-inch display. The engine is a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 140 horsepower. Transmission – six-speed manual.
The push-pull concept includes two cabins connected by side members. These side members have holes for installing connecting plates between the cabins. Thanks to this arrangement, the vehicle can move in any direction. To ensure this, in a non-driving cab it is necessary to shift the gearbox to neutral and lock the wheels.
Citroen Jumper Back to Back is designed to transport cabs to customers. The main idea is that he can independently bring the cabin to the consumer (usually various body shops, including camper manufacturers). This approach will allow companies to significantly reduce logistics costs, since specialists will not have to order a tow truck, supports, clamps and other loading and unloading equipment.
