As Gazeta.ru reports with reference to a representative of the Russian office of Chery, two models are currently undergoing certification – the Tiggo 7 Pro e+ and Arrizo 8 e+ hybrids. Their appearance on our market was officially confirmed back in the spring, but now the timing has been clarified: the launch of Tiggo 7 Pro e+ will take place before the New Year, and Arrizo 8 e+ will go on sale a little later, at the beginning of 2024.

The hybrid version of the Seven Pro debuted in China at the end of August last year. The crossover received a 1.5-liter petrol turbo-four, developing 156 horsepower, which works in conjunction with a 170-horsepower traction electric motor and motor-generator. In electric mode, the Tiggo 7 Pro e+ travels up to 100 kilometers, and the total range reaches 1,300 kilometers.

Similar results were shown for the gas-electric sedan, which debuted this spring at the Shanghai Motor Show under the name Arrizo 8 C-DM (in Russia the model will be sold with the e+ prefix). It has the same setup based on the fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5-liter Miller cycle engine. For the sedan, fuel consumption is stated at four liters per 100 kilometers.

Chery already sells one hybrid in Russia – Tiggo 8 Pro e+. Today, this is the most expensive model in the brand’s local line; it costs 4,929,900 rubles without discounts. The seven-seat crossover is driven by a 235-horsepower hybrid power plant, which includes a one and a half-liter turbo engine with 147 horsepower and two electric motors. The average fuel consumption of the model reaches 1.3 liters per “hundred”, the range on pure electricity is up to 75 kilometers, and the total range is up to 1000 kilometers.
