Chinese automaker Zeekr has released the first photos of a new electric sedan bearing the Bond name 007 ahead of its upcoming debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China.

The electric vehicle showcases a new styling language for the Geely-owned brand. The appearance of the new model was worked on by Zeekr design director Stefan Sielaff, known for his previous work at Audi and Bentley.

Zeekr didn’t show any photos of the interior, but the full glass roof gives us a glimpse of the five-seat cabin. We see part of the digital instrument panel and several speakers, hinting at a high-end audio system.

The Zeekr 007 also features three LiDAR sensors mounted on the roof and front fenders to power advanced autonomous driving systems.

Geely has not announced the technical specifications of the model, but Chinese media report that the new product will be 4865 mm long, 1900 mm wide and 1450 mm high. According to Car News China, the electric car will be based on the MA2+ platform, derived from Geely’s popular SEA platform.

The new electric car from Zeekr will likely be equipped with a single electric motor producing 204 hp. and a torque of 350 Nm, which will allow the new product to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

More details about the Zeekr 007 will be revealed during its official debut, scheduled for November 17 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The electric sedan will be the fourth Zeekr model.
