The official distributor of the Dongfeng brand in Russia, Lipetsk Motorinvest, announces prices for the 580 model: a three-row family crossover in the top configuration and with a non-alternative petrol turbo engine coupled with a CVT costs 2,750,000 rubles. The competitive advantage of the new product is the transformable interior – the seats fold in six combinations, and, depending on the configuration, the trunk volume ranges from 375 to 2215 liters.
The Dongfeng 580 came to Russia with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine that develops 145 horsepower and works in conjunction with a CVT. The crossover in the uncontested Luxury configuration is equipped with all-round cameras, keyless entry and an engine start button, a tire pressure monitoring function, parking sensors, an electric sunroof, as well as climate and cruise control. It has a multimedia system with a nine-inch screen, a six-speaker audio system and a standard DVR.

The salon is designed for seven people, the seats of the second and third rows are folded, and the latter form a flat floor when folded. The cabin has various pockets and other storage spaces, and the roof has roof rails that allow for the installation of an additional luggage box. The company itself talks about the Dongfeng 580 as a crossover that combines the qualities of a passenger car, station wagon and minivan.
The first generation Dongfeng 580 will be sold in Russia, while in China the model has already entered the second generation. On the domestic market, in addition to the seven-seat version available in Russia, the 580 also has a version with a 2+2+2 seating arrangement with two separate seats on the second row.
