The Avtograd News portal shared an internal document that describes the details of the new promotion. Soon the Volzhsky Automobile Plant may launch a program for issuing cars to customers throughout the country from dealership centers located in Tolyatti. The buyer will have to come to the Samara region. It will save on delivery costs, and the plant will solve the problem of shortage of semi-trailers.

According to the Telegram channel “Autopotok”, delivery of one car by auto transporter costs 50-80 thousand rubles. It is not known for certain how much a Lada buyer can save. The scheme itself is understandable only in general terms: the client will place an order for the car from his dealer, but pre-sale preparation and delivery will fall on the Tolyatti dealer.

Now AvtoVAZ is making changes to the dealer agreement, rewriting the templates for the purchase and sale agreement and the acceptance certificate. It is not yet clear when the promotion will be launched, but it looks like the innovation may be announced at the end of October or beginning of November. The document says that the goal of the “Pick Up in Tolyatti” program is to meet established sales targets.

If the promotion is launched, Lada buyers can go back 30 years, to the times when new VAZ cars were easier and cheaper to buy near the plant. The benefit of AvtoVAZ is also obvious: by inviting customers to Togliatti, it is possible to partially solve the problem of the shortage of car transporter drivers, tractors and semi-trailers themselves.

What’s good for a Russian: how do people think about UAZ and Lada abroad?
