The circulation of the two-door will be 16 copies. Each will receive a 750-horsepower engine, a titanium exhaust system and a unique, custom design. For example, for the Batur Convertible Car #0, on which the technical processes will be tested, an unusual combination of glossy and matte Vermillion shades, carbon fiber parts, and interior elements printed in rose gold was chosen.

The Bentley Batur Convertible Roadster will be produced in a limited edition of 16 units. Each will be adapted to the customer’s tastes and equipped with a W12 6.0 biturbo engine. The engine, which will be discontinued in the summer, here develops 750 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque – more than on any other Bentley. As with the Batur coupe, the open car will also feature an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-titanium exhaust manifold.

However, the main thing about the Batur Convertible is, of course, the personalization possibilities. The choice of exterior colors, for example, is not limited to the Mulliner palette, but includes custom paint jobs and even hand-applied graphics. Almost everything can be customized – from the roof to the Airbridge trim on the fairings behind the seats. At the client’s request, the external decor will be dark or light, with a glossy or matte surface. And the radiator grille will be painted with an ombre effect, that is, with a smooth transition from one color to another.

The first demo of the Batur Convertible features a two-tone Vermillion Gloss/Vermillion Satin paint scheme complemented by carbon fiber elements under a high-gloss varnish. The grille frame is finished in Gloss Dark Titanium and is paired with an ombre mesh pattern that flows from Beluga Black in the center to bright Vermillion Gloss on the sides. Gloss Dark Titanium also paints the hood lines and parts of the 22-inch wheels. The salon, in turn, is decorated with rose gold details, created in collaboration with artisans from Birmingham’s Jewelery Quarter.

The limited-edition roadster is the third Bentley Mulliner model to be developed as part of the Coachbuild programme. The new product is named after the volcanic crater Lake Batur in Kintamani on the island of Bali. As you know, Bentley loves place names very much. Therefore, the Bentayga crossover is named after a rock formation in Gran Canaria, and the Barchetta Bacalar is named after a lake on the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula.
