Due to shortcomings, the start of production of the Chevrolet Equinox was postponed
In the coming months, production of the electric Chevrolet Equinox 2024 was supposed to begin at the General Motors plant, but, as it became known, its start has been postponed. Moreover, the exact timing of the delay is not disclosed, except that it will last several months. The reason was some improvements that the car urgently needed. It is assumed that this is somehow related to components or malfunctions in any system. However, we can only wait for the details, which should appear in the near future.
By the way, a similar situation is observed in the Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV. The start of their production has been postponed altogether to the fourth quarter of 2025, although it was previously reported that they would begin to be assembled at the beginning of 2025. Accordingly, production plans for other models will be revised, which will also be discussed later. In addition, questions have arisen regarding the cost of the Chevrolet Equinox. Initially, it was announced at around 2.8 million rubles, but now there are suggestions that the price will increase.
