The Avtotor plant has begun shipping Forthing T5 Evo SUVs to dealerships. The new product will be offered in several design options, with a Russified multimedia system and a combination of a one and a half liter Mitsubishi engine and a seven-speed Magna “robot”. The model is subject to discounts, taking into account which it costs from 2,480,000 to 2,790,000 rubles.

The company itself does not hide the fact that the Forthing T5 Evo is called the “Chinese Lamborghini Urus” for its similar exterior design. However, the “Chinese” has nothing to do with the Italian brand: Hans-Henning Knoepfel, who previously worked at Volvo and Mercedes-Benz, was responsible for its appearance. In terms of dimensions, the T5 Evo is comparable to Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, Haval Jolion and Geely Atlas Pro, with which it will have to compete.

Three design options will be offered for the Forthing T5 Evo in Russia Exclusive for Russia: the all-wheel drive Forthing T5 Evo will go on sale In Russia, the production of three models of the Forthing brand will be launched

Previously, the distributor of the Forthing brand in Russia, IXEN Motors Rus, promised an exclusive option for the T5 Evo: all-wheel drive, which Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor began developing back in 2023 at the request of Russian dealers. It will be an all-wheel drive system with an intelligent multi-plate clutch with an automatic connection function. All-wheel drive T5 Evo will be assembled at Avtotor, as well as the front-wheel drive version.

In addition to the T5 Evo, the Forthing brand will be represented on the Russian market by two more models. The first is the T5 crossover with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 122 horsepower coupled with a five-speed manual or CVT. The second is the Forthing M4 Yacht, a minivan almost 4.9 meters long with a seven-seater cabin with separate seats on the second row. It has the same engine and gearbox combination as the T5. It is already on sale and costs from 4,190,000 rubles.
