A “different” Jolion will be sold in New Zealand – in the local market the model is called Jolion Pro and it is presented under the GWM/Haval brand. This crossover, like the one sold in Russia, is built on the LEMON platform, but differs from “ours” in its exterior design. There are three main differences: this is the original radiator grille, different headlights and lanterns. In addition, New Zealanders have access to a hybrid modification, which is not available in Russia.

In terms of dimensions, the New Zealand Jolion Pro also differs from the Russian one: it reaches 4.47 meters in length versus 4.472 for the Tula-assembled crossover, the width is almost 1.9 meters versus 1.87, and the height is 1.62 and 1.58 meters, respectively. The distance between the axles of the cars is the same and equal to 2.7 meters. The only difference in the cabin is the steering wheel, located on the right.

But the modifications of the version for New Zealand are more interesting than those in Russia. Jolion Pro is offered there with a HEV hybrid system: it includes a 1.5-liter gasoline “turbo-four” and an electric motor, which develop a total of 190 horsepower. However, there is also a basic version with the same engine as in Russia, but with an all-wheel drive system.

Sales of the updated Haval Jolion have begun in Russia Haval will bring hybrid cars to Russia Prices have been announced for the hybrid Haval Jolion with a consumption of 5 l/100 km

Earlier, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported that Haval is considering the possibility of bringing hybrid models to Russia, among which the Jolion may be. It can be assumed that the gas-electric installation will be borrowed from the model for the Chinese market – a 1.5 turbo engine, an electric motor and a seven-speed robot. This crossover has front-wheel drive.

The hybrid Haval Jolion is also sold in Australia. This is the most economical version of the model in the line: the hybrid consumes only five liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers compared to 8.1 liters for a standard crossover with an internal combustion engine.
