According to the Pango Cars automotive system, in April Kia became the leader – the brand accounted for 13.4 percent of all sales of used cars. The domestic Lada took second place with a 12.6 percent share, and third also went to the “Koreans” – Hyundai with 12 percent. The top five are completed by Renault and Nissan, which were chosen by 6.3 and six percent of buyers, respectively.

As for models, the absolute leader remains the Hyundai Solaris. It is followed by Kia Rio and Lada Vesta.

Almost a third of Russian buyers in April chose cars costing from 500 thousand to a million rubles. More than a quarter (25.4 percent) paid from a million to one and a half, and another 14.6 percent were looking for the most budget options up to 500 thousand rubles. 11.7 percent of Russians paid more than two million for a used car.

Almost half bought a car with mileage from 50 thousand to 150 thousand kilometers, 21 percent – from 150 thousand to 200 thousand, 14 percent – less than 50 thousand.

In April, a little more than 137 thousand new passenger cars were sold in the Russian Federation. Almost every third of them is Lada. The Russian brand is followed by a large margin by the Chinese Haval and Chery.
