The company will show the modernized all-terrain vehicle in December 2023, according to its official Telegram channel. Probably, soon after the premiere, VX will begin to appear in the brand’s dealerships. The characteristics of the new product have not yet been disclosed, but it is known that it will replace the “robot” with a Japanese automatic machine. The appearance is no longer a secret: the export SUV was shown in October at the GIMS Qatar 2023 exhibition.

With the update, the Exeed VX (known as Xingtu Lanyue in China) will slightly refresh the front end design. The interior will change more: there will be a giant triple screen in the spirit of Mercedes-Benz with a 15.6-inch central display and 12.3-inch displays on the sides. The door cards and steering wheel will be refreshed, behind which the gear selector will be located. The Internet with Russian services – Yandex and VK applications – is also promised.

The flagship’s engine will remain the same – a two-liter turbo engine with 249 horsepower (385 Nm of torque). Paired with it, the restyled SUV will not be powered by the current seven-speed preselective “robot”, but by an eight-speed automatic transmission from the Japanese company Aisin. In addition, a suspension with active damping function and sixth-generation BorgWarner all-wheel drive are announced.

With the update, the cost will probably increase noticeably. Insiders predict a price of 6.9-7.5 million rubles. For comparison, for the current Exeed they are asking from 5.3 million – that is, the increase could be at least 1.6 million rubles.

Meanwhile, JAC presented its cheapest model in Russia – the JS3 crossover, designed to replace the even more affordable, but already disappeared S3. The new product is offered with a non-alternative 109-horsepower engine in two trim levels, and the price starts at 1.8 million rubles, which is 50 thousand cheaper than the “basic” Haval Jolion.
