“Autostat”: in Russia over the year, sales of Geely cars have tripled
The Chinese automaker Geely is demonstrating impressive dynamics in the Russian market: according to the analytical agency Autostat, in September 2023, sales of the brand increased 3.3 times compared to the same period last year.

Over the 9 months of this year, Russians purchased 59 thousand Geely cars – 3.6 times more than during the same period in 2022. As a result, the company took 4th place among all automakers in the country. The most popular model of the brand was the compact crossover Coolray with more than 3 thousand cars sold. Also in the top three were the SUV Monjaro and Atlas Pro.
Previously, Geely announced the premiere of the new Galaxy E8 sedan, which will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2023. In addition, prices for all models of the brand were increased by 10-25 thousand rubles. Thus, Geely cars show impressive sales dynamics and are in high demand among Russian buyers. The success of the Chinese brand is explained by the optimal price-quality ratio, as well as the expansion of the model range.
It also recently became known that an exclusive Geely Emgrand has appeared in Kazakhstan, which is also expected in Russia.
