The Binrui Cool model was brought to the country unofficially: sedans are presented at several dealers in different cities, Rossiyskaya Gazeta found out. The 2023 model cars for sale are an updated version of the sedan, which has been presented in China since the summer of this year. Under the hood it has a 181-horsepower 1.5-liter engine jointly developed by Geely and Volvo, and the gearbox is a seven-speed “robot.”

The Binrui Cool is a relatively inexpensive four-door built on the same architecture as the Coolray. With the restyling that the model underwent last summer, versions with manual transmission and CVT, as well as low-power engines, were excluded from the range. So from now on, the sedan is sold with a 181-horsepower turbo-four, which is the same as the local equivalent of our Coolray. The car accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.1 seconds, and the average fuel consumption declared by the automaker is 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers.

The ad on Auto.ru states that the 2023 car has leather upholstery, a sunroof and a navigation system. The price (2.7 million rubles) already includes a recycling fee of 306 thousand rubles.

In China, Geely Binrui Cool costs 89.8 thousand yuan (1.1 million rubles at today’s exchange rate) – this is how much the Champion Edition will cost.
