The presentation of the gasoline-electric crossover Xingyue L (known on export markets under the name Monjaro) of the 2024 model took place in the Middle Kingdom. The power plant has changed: the three-cylinder DHE15-ESZ turbo engine with a displacement of 1480 cubic centimeters was replaced by a more powerful and efficient 1499 cc four-cylinder BHE15-BFZ unit. The autonomy of the hybrid is the same – 1279 kilometers (NEDC).
The updated Geely Monjaro hybrid features a radiator grille with vertical bars and strict bumpers. Fundamentally, the power plant has not changed, but the new gasoline engine is more productive (163 horsepower and 255 Nm instead of 150 horsepower and 225 Nm). There are two electric motors: 136 forces (320 Nm) and 82 forces (180 Nm). The synchronization of the system is assigned to a three-stage DHT transmission.

For comparison, the Russian bestseller – a variant with a 2.0-liter engine and all-wheel drive – costs 185,200 yuan ($26 thousand) in China. Export sales of gasoline-electric versions are likely, but such modifications have not yet been promised for our country.
