The possibility of organizing the assembly of Chinese cars is already being discussed, said the executive director of Liven Motors Rus, Kong Shuai. The brand, launched by Lifan with the help of investments from Geely, appeared in Russia quite recently: last summer the first crossover X3 Pro, the size of a Lada XRay, entered our market. This week, Livan announced the start of accepting orders for two more models – the S6 Pro sedan and the larger X6 SUV.

“We are now working very closely with different sources and discussing this topic,” said Kong Shuai, answering a question about the possible start of production.

Livan is the export name of Ruilan, which was founded by Lifan Technology and Geely Automobile after Lifan’s bankruptcy. In Russia, the latter sold cars until 2022. In recent years, demand for them has been steadily declining, and in March last year it fell to zero. Moreover, in 2014-2018, Lifan was the most popular Chinese brand in Russia.

The first-born of the reborn brand on the Russian market was the small crossover X3 Pro, which is a redesigned Geely Vision X3. It went on sale in the summer at a price of 1,879,900 rubles.

Now the Livan line has expanded: the S6 Pro sedan and the X6 Pro crossover have been added to it. “Live” sales have not yet begun, but orders for cars are already being accepted: the price of a sedan ranges from 2,549,900 to 2,749,900 rubles, a crossover – from 2,629,900 to 2,829,900 rubles. Both new products are powered by 1.5-liter turbo engines.
