In 2022, the Mercedes-AMG GT2 premiered, becoming the most powerful model ever built by the company as part of a customer racing program. A year later, the Pro modification appeared, taking on the status of the most powerful sports car in the AMG Customer Racing line. True, you won’t be able to race the car – it is not homologated for official competitions and is not certified for public roads, but you can drive it on circuits as part of private track days.

The track Mercedes-AMG GT2 Pro is a variation on the racing Mercedes-AMG GT2, from which a 707-horsepower 4.0-liter V8 turbo engine with a 6-speed sequential gearbox is borrowed. The Pro version now has a Push2Pass function, which allows you to briefly increase engine output to 750 horsepower. The car received adjustable anti-roll bars and shock absorbers, but if the base sports car has them adjustable in three parameters, the new one has four.

There are also visual differences. The base exterior trim will be matte gray with turquoise accents, GT2 Pro logos and unpainted carbon fiber elements. The new product received a special design of 18-inch wheels with the same two-tone color. The wing has been slightly modified and received new end plates.

Inside, the center console has been changed, decorated with unpainted carbon fiber with a glossy finish, and the driver’s seat has received decorative stitching. The Cube Controls steering wheel is inspired by the sim racing steering wheel and remains unchanged, apart from the addition of a Push2Pass button, but the digital instrument panel has been replaced with a new one, with a brighter screen and clearer graphics. Air conditioning is included as standard.

gt2 Included with the sports car, the owner will receive a special cover for the car with the silhouette of the GT2 Pro model and a set of homologated racing equipment – buyers will be given a Bell helmet, as well as overalls, underwear, gloves and boots from Puma. Owners of sports cars have priority access to the proprietary AMG Racing Series track day program at the best race tracks in Europe, and at the request of the client, the Mercedes-AMG GT2 Pro can be upgraded to the Mercedes-AMG GT2 version to participate in official races.
