The construction of such three-doors will be carried out by the German team Bulldog Racing, which competes on the MINI at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The release of the hatchback is timed to coincide with the most successful finish of the brand in the 24-hour competition – the second place in the class of production cars with engines ranging from 1.6 to 2.0 liters.

Nürburg-based Bulldog Racing, which represents MINI at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, has announced a limited edition hatchback named after itself. The three-door MINI John Cooper Works Bulldog Racing Edition borrows a number of solutions from the “combat” JCW 1to6 Edition, but is not constrained by the strict rules of the competition. They retained the admission to ordinary roads and the power unit – a “turbo four” 2.0 with a capacity of 231 horsepower and 321 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed “mechanics”.

Accessories available for JCW Bulldog Racing can be fitted individually or combined as you see fit. The list includes KW V3 racks, which are configured for each machine individually; 17-inch OZ HyperGT alloy wheels; Pirelli P Zero Performance tires; exhaust line Remus; as well as a strut instead of a rear sofa from Stern Performance Parts. Of the visual differences – a sticker with the Bulldog Racing logo on the roof, a badge on the B-pillars and a special plate with the car number and suspension break-in date on the Nordschleife.

In general, Bulldog Racing performs at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring in two classes: VT2-FWD and SP3T. According to the regulations of the latter, the JCW GP was built with the “four” M Performance, developing 306 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The hatchback is equipped with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic with a built-in mechanical front differential lock (maximum coefficient – 70%). All moving components of the chassis and suspension are assembled on ball joints, instead of glasses – Makrolon polycarbonate. The aerodynamic body kit includes an enlarged splitter and diffuser, an adjustable wing and a fully enclosed bottom.
