On the Pistonheads website, a gray station wagon driven by the Prince of Great Britain is looking for a new owner: the son of Charles and fifth in line to the throne purchased the RS6 in 2017. For the car they are asking 42 thousand pounds sterling – 4.6 million rubles. This is slightly more than the initial cost of the new Geely Monjaro in Russia and a rather modest price, considering the final bid for Princess Diana’s Ford Escort sold last year.

Prince Harry drove this Audi RS6 Avant when he was dating divorced American actress Meghan Markle, and got rid of it in 2018. The 560-horsepower V8 station wagon, finished in discreet Daytona Gray with a gray interior, was probably chosen to be the least conspicuous, so as not to attract attention before the wedding. But this did not stop the paparazzi from taking many pictures of the prince behind the wheel.

The list of options includes Audi Matrix optics, a panoramic glass roof, a night vision system, a head-up display and a dimming rearview mirror. Judging by the pictures, the car is still in almost perfect condition, despite the mileage of 109 thousand kilometers. By the way, the Audi wheels were put on P Zero tires only 800 kilometers ago.

This isn’t the first time the RS6 has gone on sale. In the summer of 2018, it was listed on the Autotrader website at a significantly higher price – 71.9 thousand pounds sterling, which then equaled about six million rubles, and now is about eight. Then the mileage was tiny – only seven thousand kilometers.

In any case, the new owners don’t expect to sell Harry’s ex-car for a sky-high price like what they paid for Princess Diana’s Ford Escort RS Turbo. As a result of fierce bidding, it was possible to gain 851 thousand dollars, which was equal to approximately 52 million rubles at the current exchange rate in the summer of 2022.
