In the third quarter of 2023, Russians most willingly bought the Geely Monjaro crossover, although it appeared on our market quite recently – only in April of this year. On average, from July to September, 3.8 million rubles were paid for Monjaro, according to a study by Avito Auto. In second place was Chery Tiggo (T11), for which the average price was 377 thousand rubles.

The top three was closed by the Lifan Solano sedan, the average cost of which on the Russian secondary market is 289 thousand rubles. It is followed by the Geely Coolray with a price of about two million rubles, and the fifth position goes to another Lifan – the X60 crossover, which was sold on average for 400 thousand rubles.

Next in the top ten best-selling used “Chinese” cars are Geely Emgrand EC7, Changan UNI-K, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Amulet (A15) and Zeekr 001.

In the third quarter, sales of Chinese cars on the secondary market increased by 115 percent compared to the same period in 2022, experts estimate. The average cost of a car from China now reaches 1.8 million rubles.

As for new Chinese cars, Geely, GAC, Li, Changan and Tank are in greatest demand, Avilon reported. Geely has a particularly popular Coolray, GAC has the GS8, Changan has the CS55 Plus, CS35 Plus and UNI-T, and Tank has the “junior” SUV 300.
