Supercar parts are usually quite expensive and hard to come by, increasing the value of even completely wrecked examples. What may look like a pile of junk is actually the remains of not one, but two Lamborghini Murcielago cars that are currently listed for sale on eBay.

According to the description, parts from the LP 580 (yellow) and the more modern LP 640 (white) are up for sale. In both cases, the Lamborghini V12 engines and gearboxes are still mounted on the chassis, although quite a few parts are missing.

Judging by the photographs, both supercars were involved in serious accidents, resulting in total damage to their bodies and chassis. Despite missing all the body panels, the yellow Murcielago appears to be in better condition than the white one, whose chassis was cut down the middle.

The only parts that have retained their original shape are the signature five-spoke alloy wheels, a set of doors and part of the dashboard.

The remains of the two supercars are being sold in Munich, Germany, with possible worldwide delivery. At the time of writing, with only a few hours left until the auction closes, the highest bid on eBay is 10,250 euros, approximately 1 million rubles.

In any case, the winning bidder will have to make a significant effort to identify and salvage parts that are worth something. Alternatively, the wrecked Murcielago could be used as a piece of art, although it’s doubtful anyone would want such a grim display in their living room.

Even though the Lamborghini Murcielago was released back in 2001, it remains a pipe dream car for many car enthusiasts. This flagship model from Sant’Agata in the 2000s was equipped with a V12 engine producing 572 hp. (427 kW) in the original model, 631 hp. (471 kW) in the updated version and up to 661 hp. (493 kW) in the SuperVeloce version.
