A test prototype of the SU7 model was spotted in China again, but this time the camera captured the most expensive version of the model – this is indicated by a lidar on the roof, an active spoiler and an external Face ID sensor on the B-pillar. As CarNewsChina reports, this modification will be called the same as the top smartphones – Max. In the latest photos you can also see the interior: a steering wheel with the Xiaomi logo and a vertical tablet on the front panel.

The photo with the steering wheel shows another Face ID sensor, with which the system will recognize the driver and reproduce the mirror settings and seat position. But what was not included in the pictures was the head-up display, which was announced for an electric car.

The most expensive Xiaomi SU7 will have a dual-motor unit with 673 horsepower and all-wheel drive, and it will be faster than others – the maximum speed will be 265 kilometers per hour. The battery of such an electric car will be lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt from CATL. The capacity and range are unknown, although earlier insiders spoke of a 101-kilowatt traction battery and 800 kilometers on a single charge.

Cheaper versions get a single-motor setup with a 300-horsepower rear motor and a BYD lithium iron phosphate battery. Such an electric car will only accelerate to 210 kilometers per hour.

Production of Xiaomi SU7 will start in December 2023, and sales will begin in February 2024. The BAIC plant in Beijing has already assembled several dozen test units.
