In the spring of 2022, the company officially announced the end of the life cycle of the Wraith and Dawn models – the coupe and convertible will be discontinued in early 2023. They will not have successors – in the line of the British brand, both cars will be replaced by the Specter electric car. The V12 engine will also be gone along with the models, as all new Rolls-Royce models will be equipped with an electric powertrain. For those who are not satisfied with this, a car from ARES Modena is addressed.
Leaving all the technical parts unchanged, the Italian design studio ARES Modena completely redesigned the body. While retaining the signature “suicide” doors that open in the opposite direction, the experts increased their length and also significantly changed the roof line, which now does not resemble the original model at all.
The interior of the model has not been disclosed, and the technical characteristics of the new coupe have not been reported – it is expected that under the hood there will be a 6.75-liter V12 with a capacity of 571 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
ARES Modena
The circulation of Ares Coupe based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom and the cost of the car are not mentioned, but ARES Modena emphasizes that only a few coupes will be made, and based on a sedan, which must be provided by the customer. So far, two versions have been announced – with a black and white body and an interior complemented by bronze accents.
