The famous actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger was again involved in a traffic accident in February of this year. On one of the streets of West Los Angeles, the star’s huge GMC Yukon collided with a bicycle – according to the Hollywood star, he was moving in a straight line at low speed, when a woman moving parallel to him on a bicycle suddenly turned left, cutting off the SUV, and the bodybuilder did not have time to stop.

According to the TMZ portal, cyclist Joan Flickinger was quick to blame Schwarzenegger for the accident – according to her, the ex-governor was driving down the street at a clear speed limit and generally showed criminal inattention, as a result of which he caused the collision. The actor claimed that it was physically impossible to stop in time, since the woman pulled onto the road literally in front of his car.

As a result of the accident, the woman was injured and went to the hospital in an ambulance, and Arnold hung her dented bicycle on the trunk next to his own and took it to a specialized service for repair. The California Police Department and representatives of the Hollywood star declined to comment on the incident.

It would seem that the parties’ claims had been settled, but now it suddenly became known that Flickinger had filed a lawsuit against the actor. The cyclist accused Schwarzenegger of the same speeding and inattention, emphasizing that she received serious injuries as a result of being hit by an SUV, which she can confirm with relevant documents. Time will tell what the court thinks about this.
