Honda models will be equipped with a new security complex. The Chinese Accord will be the first to receive the Sensing 360+ system. It differs from the regular Sensing 360 in the presence of high-resolution maps and an interior camera. The electronics will be able to independently drive the car on the highway, allow you to remove your hands from the steering wheel, will not allow you to open the door if there is an obstacle nearby, and if the driver’s health worsens, it will stop the car, turn on the emergency lights and call for help.
The Honda Accord sedan for the Chinese market, sales of which will begin in 2024, will be the first to receive the Honda Sensing 360+ security complex. This is a more advanced version of the usual Sensing 360, which uses, in addition to the main sensors (radars and sonars), high-resolution maps and an additional camera that monitors the driver’s condition. On highways, the new system will allow you to take your hands off the steering wheel. The Accord will be able to stay within its lane, keep its distance from the car in front and slow down before a turn, taking into account its radius.

The electronics will also tell you when it’s best to change lanes to overtake. And in navigation mode it will tell you which lane to take at an intersection or when exiting a highway. At the same time, the Honda Sensing 360+ complex will add Exit Warning (safe door opening) and Driver Emergency Support System (assistance if the driver’s well-being deteriorates) to the Accord’s arsenal. If for any reason the driver does not take any action and does not take control, the car will stop in the lane, turn on the emergency lights with the horn and call for help via the HELPNET network.

In China, the Accord sedan is available with a 1.5-liter turbo-four (192 hp, 260 Nm) and with a hybrid e:PHEV based on the naturally aspirated 2.0 engine, the combined output of which is 207 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque. The initial four-door is equipped with 10 airbags, a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, keyless entry and an air conditioning system with a PM 2.5 fine particle filter. Such a car costs 179,800 yuan, or 2.2 million rubles.
