The new product was photographed in China, and the main change – the radiator grille – was hastily “hidden” with several torn pieces of white film. The radiator grille has changed its shape to trapezoidal, and the filling has also been updated – the design consists of three-dimensional chrome elements. The Chinese Cars portal also drew attention to the new millimeter-wave radar frame.
In general, due to the transformed front end, the design of the RX has become more restrained – apparently, Exeed took this step to increase sales of the cross-coupe in the home market. But in the technical part, no changes are expected: the restyled crossover will continue to be sold with a two-liter engine with a capacity of 261 horsepower (249 horsepower in the Russian specification).

The RX is also preparing to enter the market with an alternative design with a frameless grille – from it you can recognize a hybrid modification of the model with a fifth-generation 1.5-liter ACTECO gasoline engine, which works in conjunction with an electric motor and a 3-speed DHT gearbox. Such a model could reach Russia next year.
In September, the Exeed RX debuted with an eight-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter: formally it was called Flying Fish, but in reality we are not talking about a special version, but about a family of four trim levels with expanded equipment. The Japanese Aisin gearbox is only available for the all-wheel drive version.
