Sergey Burgazliev: all Moskvich models in Russia will rise in price by 10% in 2024

According to some reports, models of the Russian Moskvich brand may become more expensive next year – by 10%. Independent auto industry expert Sergei Burgazliev spoke about this in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru. The cost, therefore, can be increased by 180 thousand rubles or more. At the same time, he clarified that a rise in price is expected even despite the fact that cars of this brand are uncompetitive on the market. Taking into account the rate of inflation, the cost, according to preliminary calculations, will increase by 1/10 of the amount that is now being asked for cars of the revived brand.

Moreover, the entire model range in this case will fall under the price list census. Despite the fact that new discounts are appearing and measures are being taken to curb prices, the demand for Moskvich cars at this stage remains low. Currently, the first car in the brand’s line, Moskvich 3, is offered for 2.22 million rubles without discounts. The electric version 3e is priced at 3.95 million, and the liftback with the index “6” in the name can be purchased for 2.62 million rubles. The increase in price can be significant – up to 400 thousand rubles (photo: Moskvich).
