The US tuning studio Hennessey Performance, which is famous for its powerful cars based on models of American brands, organized a drag race of two sports cars. To demonstrate the capabilities of the mighty Mammoth 1000 Ram TRX super-pickup, modified on its own, in a battle with an absolutely standard Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup. True, it looks like it turned out to be a duel of rivals with almost twice the difference in power.

The tuners take the Ram 1500 TRX as the basis for their “Mammoth”, equipped with a HEMI V8 6.2 with a drive supercharger, which allows you to extract 712 horsepower and 881 Nm from the engine. Due to modifications, the output of the unit on the Mammoth 1000 Ram TRX increases to 1012 horsepower and 1315 Nm.

The Lightning version of the pickup truck has two electric motors, which on the test unit produce 580 horsepower and 1050 Nm of torque. The parameters compared to its rival are not particularly outstanding – especially since due to the 130 kilowatt-hour battery, the weight of the all-wheel drive Ford F-150 is almost three tons.
