It was reported that Saipa Automobile Group left our market without entering it. However, as Khodro Bank writes, the company did not refuse sales in Russia: it only ceased cooperation with the local distributor Best Motors LLC. Official deliveries of Iranian cars to the Russian market are still in the plans, but they will be carried out through the Belarusian company Lucky Carency.

SAIPA representatives reported that they maintain partnerships with the Lucky Care company from Belarus. Moreover, the Iranians have sent samples of cars for certification, which is in its final stages. SAIPA expects to begin exporting to Belarus and Russia in the coming months.

At the same time, the Iranian company recognizes “tough competitive conditions” in both markets: in our country it will compete in the same segment as Lada. Despite this, research has shown that SAIPA has a “positive outlook”.

On the contrary, Best Motors did not see any prospects for working with SAIPA. The point is the changed economic situation in the country, which has made trading in “Iranians” unprofitable, said the company, which is now in the process of liquidation.

According to SAIPA representatives, the former Russian partner did not fulfill contractual obligations, and therefore cooperation was terminated.

Earlier it was reported that SAIPA was going to start Russian sales with the Quick hatchback and the four-door Saina and Shahin.
