Media mogul Li Xiang shared photos of the Mega single-volume car and hinted that the new product will feature a record aerodynamic drag coefficient. Exact values are not given, but according to unofficial data, the Li Mega will be as streamlined as electric sedans. Currently, the segment record (Cх = 0.27) belongs to the Zeekr 009 of the Geely holding.
From the outside, the Li Mega is revealed from all angles, and the minivan has a truly unusual drop-shaped silhouette. From the front, the new product is similar to the Hyundai Staria with its characteristic optics, but otherwise the design is unique. According to unofficial data, the length of the Chinese mono-volume will be more than 5.3 meters, and the basis will be 800-volt architecture. Li Mega will not have gasoline internal combustion engines.

From a 500-kilowatt “supercharger” the minivan will be able to replenish a charge equivalent to 400 kilometers in 9.5 minutes. In 22 minutes it will be possible to recharge for a trip of 600 kilometers. Li Xiang will develop chargers independently: by 2025, up to 3,000 such terminals will appear in China. Li Mega is expected to have batteries with a capacity of at least 100 kilowatt-hours.
All the characteristics of the minivan will be revealed in December, orders will open in January, and the first buyers will receive their cars in February – this is Li Auto’s plan. It is already clear that the new product will be more expensive than Zeekr 009, that is, the starting price will be more than 500 thousand yuan (equivalent to 68 thousand US dollars). Mega will probably appear in Russia too, because Li Auto hybrid crossovers are quite popular here.
