A presentation of a more comfortable Mercedes E-Class L took place in the Middle Kingdom
Mercedes-Benz presented in China the luxurious Mercedes E-Class L 2024, an expanded version of everyone’s favorite executive sedan. This car arrives six months after the launch of the standard new-generation E-Class, offering more comfort and space for rear passengers.
Visually, the E-Class L impresses with its extended design. It has longer rear doors, thicker C-pillars and distinctive D-pillar badging, giving it a hint of Maybach luxury (photo: Mercedes).
One of the outstanding features of the E-Class L is its increased size. This Chinese configuration is 13.2cm longer than the standard model thanks to a 3094mm longer wheelbase. Inside the car, you’ll find a dashboard borrowed from the standard E-Class, complemented by an available Hyperscreen consisting of three large displays. However, it’s the rear passengers who really benefit from this extended modification. They can enjoy increased knee room, reclining seatbacks and electrically adjustable footrests.
