Blogger Roma Urraco showed a station wagon in the video, which was miraculously preserved in its original form. The owner of the “two” purchased the car in the early 1970s, but the only trip for half a century was to the city of Irpen (Kiev region). The Zhiguli was placed in a garage, where it languished until August 2023. The dry and dark room contributed to exceptional preservation.
The owner of the “deuce” did not dare to drive the car, but took care of proper storage. The wheels were carefully removed, the suspension was unloaded, and the station wagon was placed on blocks. It looks like nothing was stored in the garage other than the Zhiguli: nothing was placed on the body, the paintwork was without a single scratch, and the chrome was almost perfect.

The VAZ-2102 has a rare gray color with code 624. The kit is complete: there are factory tools, a spare tire rubbed with talcum powder, a first aid kit and a manual. The only thing I can complain about is the jack: the leg was on the ground and covered with rust. But the rubber products are like new: there are no cracks on the tires of the Bila Tserkva tire plant, original seals and even brake hoses!

Preparation came down to carefully removing many years of dust from the body and interior, changing the oil in the gearbox, gearbox and engine, draining old gasoline, antifreeze and brake fluid. I had to clean the fuel tank and carburetor, change the battery and spark plugs, and develop the clutch. Neither the mirror, nor the wipers, nor the license plates were ever placed on the car.
It is problematic to evaluate the new VAZ-2102, because such cars rarely appear on free classifieds sites. However, two years ago they tried to get ten million rubles for a similar “two” in Russia. Bloggers did not report on the possible sale of Zhiguli cars from Irpen.
