“Chinese Cars” writes that the MG 7 liftback and the MG 4 Mulan electric hatchback will soon be available for order, the prices are already known: the first costs from 3.7 million rubles, the second – from 4.2 million. MG is originally a British brand, which was acquired by the Chinese concern SAIC more than 20 years ago. MG debuted on the Russian market in August of this year, at the same time it was announced that, in addition to the MG 7 and 4 Mulan, we would also sell other models – the MG 5 sedan and the One crossover.
Deliveries of MG cars to Russia were organized by InTelGo Cars, which, according to the website, also imports Zeekr, Lixiang, HiPhi and other brands of cars from China. Initially, InTelGo Cars announced six MG models for Russia, but then the line was reduced to four – the sports version of the MG 5 Scorpio sedan and the compact MG 6 liftback disappeared from the list.

Sales will begin with the mentioned MG 7 and 4 Mulan. The first is a liftback slightly larger than the Changan Uni-V, equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 188 horsepower in conjunction with a “robot”. There will also be an alternative installation – a 2.0-liter engine with 261 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The drive is front-wheel drive in both cases. The model will be offered in six trim levels: already in the “base” there is a 10.25-inch diagonal digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch multimedia system screen, an audio system with six speakers, parking sensors, cruise control and more.
The MG 4 Mulan is a 4.2 meter long electric hatchback that is driven by an electric motor on the rear axle producing 170 horsepower. On one battery charge with a capacity of 51 kilowatt-hours, the electric car travels 425 kilometers. A more powerful version with a 204-horsepower electric motor and a 64-kilowatt battery (cruising range of 520 kilometers) will also be available. And finally, they will bring to Russia a two-engine all-wheel drive modification with a 428-horsepower unit and a power reserve of 460 kilometers.
It is worth noting that since the summer presentation, the starting price of the electric MG 4 Mulan has increased significantly: from 3,729,000 to 4,200,000 rubles. MG 7 also increased in price: from 2,069,000 rubles to 2,424,000 rubles. The price of the One crossover is already known – it will cost at least 3,220,000 rubles (in August its price was 2,829,000 rubles).
