Renderings of the VW Passat B9 sedan, which received an unusual design, have been published

In the global market, the Volkswagen Passat 2023 has been synonymous with class, sophistication and versatility for half a century. With a rich history dating back to 1973, the Passat has gone through eight generations, gracing the roads in a variety of forms, including the ever-popular sedan body style. However, with the advent of the ninth generation, Volkswagen decided to break tradition by offering the Passat exclusively in station wagon form. But what if you could turn back the clock and reintroduce the updated Passat as a stunning sedan? Russian designers showed what such a car could look like.

The Passat sedan in the renderings boasts a distinctive silhouette with distinctive rear pillars, which are used on other modern models of the brand. The exterior design is characterized by an almost flat trunk lid, creating an atmosphere of timeless sophistication. The license plate recess is neatly located in the rear bumper.

Meanwhile, Ford has stopped selling the Explorer crossover in the most economical version: the reasons for this decision are known.
