The new generation of the most popular electric car in China, Wuling Hongguang MINI EV 2024, is presented in official photographs. The third generation of the model, as it became known, will debut on the home market on November 15. The budget city car is produced by the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture.
The price of the new product has not been announced, but it is expected that it will be offered at an affordable price. This super-compact “battery” car reaches a length of just over 3 meters with a width and height of 1.49 and 1.61 meters. Between the axles – 2.01 meters. The salon is designed for 4 people. There are 5 options in the range of body shades. The hatchback has rounded shapes, oval optics, and original wheels. There will be two options for the interior: beige with brown inserts, and black combined with gray (photo: Wuling).
The arsenal includes an 8-inch touchscreen media system, a digital instrument panel, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and many storage compartments. The trunk volume is 734 liters with the second row seats folded. There is no information about the technical component yet. The current generation of the model has been sold since 2020 in quantities of more than 1 million copies.
