During the broadcast of the Gran Turismo World Series 2023, the Italian company presented the Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo – a concept with a geometric aluminum body, the appearance of which was created with an eye on the Aluminum watches of 1998 and the show cars of the 70s of the last century from the Italian Carrozzeria. The digital barchetta will appear in Gran Turismo 7 in 2024.

The Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo concept was developed by Bulgari Product Director Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and Fabio Filippini, former head of design at Pininfarina.

The barchetta’s aluminum body is composed of simple geometric shapes, and the interior features nods to the 1960s and 1970s, including a three-spoke steering wheel and walnut inlays.

On the front panel there is a large chronograph-style speedometer, and in the center there is a Bulgari watch. By the way, along with the virtual car, the Italian company presented a pair of real Aluminum Gran Turismo Two Limited Models watches with the same yellow hue and dials inspired by the first Aluminum model. They use aluminum, rubber and titanium with a black DLC coating.

The watch with an anthracite dial with yellow numbers will be produced in an edition of 1,200 pieces, while the one with a yellow dial and black counters will be rarer: the circulation will be limited to five hundred pieces. The cost is not disclosed.

Earlier, within the same Vision Gran Turismo program, Ferrari, BMW, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Bugatti and others presented their concepts. Genesis recently joined them with the X Gran Berlinetta supercar.
