GAC Motor will launch sales of four new products next year, reports the Autopotok Telegram channel, citing a brand representative. At the same time, GAC, like other Chinese companies, is considering the possibility of localizing production in Russia. He is also not going to limit himself to one main brand: in the “foreseeable future” GAC wants to introduce an electric vehicle sub-brand to the Russian market [Aion](https://motor.ru/news/aionhypergt-27-12-2022.htm).
At the end of November, GAC representatives promised Russia three new products in 2024, and now one more has been added. The first to appear will be the premium M8 minivan and the second-generation GS3 crossover. The next model could be another yet-to-be-named crossover – perhaps the Emkoo – and nothing is known about the fourth new product.

The M8 minivan, also known as the GN8, is a 5.2-meter single-volume van with several powertrain options. In all likelihood, it will reach Russia with a two-liter gasoline engine producing 252 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The model is already undergoing certification and is expected on the market in March 2024.
The GS3 compact cross may appear in the second or third quarter. It is equipped with a 177-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine working with a seven-speed “robot”. Emkoo, which could become the third new product, is a youth crossover with 1.5 and 2.0 liter petrol units and a hybrid installation, with a panoramic roof and a Yamaha audio system.
Currently, there are only two crossovers in the GAC model range in Russia – GS8 and GS5. That is, in 2024 the line will grow by at least one and a half times. Over the nine months of 2023, GAC sold 1.8 thousand cars in Russia, which is 4.6 times more than in the same period last year.
