In the USA, the all-terrain vehicle of the premium brand Honda moved to the 2024 model year and lost its unpopular single-wheel drive modification. Now the clever Super Handling AWD all-wheel drive system with individual rear wheel couplings does not require additional payment. The starting price of the Acura RDX has increased by 5.4 percent to $42,245 (4.2 million rubles), and the basic equipment has been expanded.
All American Acura RDXs are equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine (276 horsepower, 380 Nm) and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Buyers of the basic version will not have to pay extra for a nine-speaker audio system with active noise reduction, a media system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, an electric fifth door, a panoramic roof, a set of driver assistants and 19-inch wheels.
Options include a more advanced audio system with 16 speakers, built-in 3D navigation, front and rear parking sensors, climate control with a GPS sensor, sports seats, Nappa leather trim and polished aluminum. At the top of the line is the Acura RDX with A-Spec and Advance packages for $55,045 plus shipping, but there are three build options in between.
The Acura brand has not been represented in Russia since 2016, and new models of the Japanese brand are very rare in our country. A year ago, “gray” dealers offered to bring crossovers to Russia for the USA and the UAE, but even before the weakening of the ruble, prices for the RDX turned out to be uncompetitive.
