The model will premiere in October at the Japan Mobility Show. Little is known about the show car: judging by the only teaser so far, it will be a car for active recreation enthusiasts, it will have an unusual T-shaped head optics, an almost vertical windshield and an illuminated emblem. From the official release it follows that the concept will be electric. It also contains a hint of the presence of all-wheel drive.

The outline of the upcoming concept car vaguely resembles the Delica D:5. Motor1.com suggests that this may not be a car in the usual sense of the word, but an all-terrain vehicle with high ground clearance and expeditionary equipment, such as a roof rack – which can be seen in the image. Delica D:5 is also mentioned in the release, as is the hybrid Outlander – apparently, “expeditionary” versions will be prepared for them as well.

Mitsubishi describes the so far unnamed concept only in general phrases: it will be able to drive on any type of surface and in any weather, and is intended for those who are not devoid of the spirit of adventure. More details will appear closer to the premiere.

The Japan Mobility Show will take place in Tokyo from October 27 to November 5. It is already known that, in addition to the mysterious Mitsubishi concept, a new Lexus product will debut there – this will be a harbinger of a production electric car. Toyota, in turn, promised to share information about the future sports car.
