Passion leaves no one indifferent with its appearance. The sedan looks solid and stylish, combining classic and modern elements. It catches the eye with its grille, which is actually a backlit decorative panel with the brand’s logo. The headlights and lanterns are narrow in shape, creating a continuous light effect. The hood received pronounced ribs, and the bumpers received large air intakes. The doors have hidden handles that pop out when approaching the car. The stern is not inferior to the front in originality. The sedan has a retractable spoiler on the trunk lid. There is also an illuminated brand logo on the trunk.
Along with this, the car impresses with its interior, which combines luxury and manufacturability. Salon sedan is made of high quality materials such as leather, aluminum, wood and carbon fiber. This is the top equipment, which costs 9,690,000 rubles. It has a battery capacity of 109 kWh, which provides a range of 800 km on the CLTC cycle. The average energy consumption is 13.6 kWh per 100 km. The battery also supports fast charging up to 150 kW, which can restore up to 80% charge in 30 minutes. In terms of equipment in this configuration, there are practically no additions compared to the basic version. The manufacturer made the main emphasis of this configuration on an increased power reserve and faster battery charging. By the way, due to the fact that the car received a more energy-intensive battery, it became heavier. This trim level is 21 kg heavier than the base trim level, and the total weight is 2286 kg. In addition, in this modification, the acceleration dynamics has been reduced from 0 to 100 km/h from 3.8 to 4.2 seconds. That’s not all, because the maximum speed of this version of the SUV has been reduced from 210 to 205 km/h. In other words, in order to increase the range of the sedan in this version, the manufacturer had to sacrifice dynamics and maximum speed. Technical specifications
The Voyah Passion 2023 is built on the ESSA (Electric Smart Secure Architecture) modular platform, which also underpins the Voyah Free crossover and the Voyah Dreamer minivan. The drag coefficient of the body is 0.225. The car is equipped with two electric motors: one on the front axle with a capacity of 218 hp. and others on the rear axle for 292 hp. In total, they give out 510 hp. and 730 Nm of torque. Due to this, he received all-wheel drive and a single-stage gearbox. Content after purchase
One of the advantages of electric vehicles is the low maintenance costs after purchase. Passion does not require replacement of oil, candles, filters and other consumables that are typical for cars with internal combustion engines. The only thing that needs to be changed is the brake pads and discs, but they wear out more slowly due to energy recovery when braking. In addition, the car has a battery warranty for eight years or 160,000 kilometers. This means that if the battery capacity falls below 70%, the manufacturer will replace or repair it free of charge. The cost of charging depends on the electricity tariff and the capacity of the charger.
Safety
Voyah Passion 2023 is equipped with modern security and driver assistance systems. The sedan has six airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS), brake force distribution (EBD), traction control (TCS), dynamic stabilization (ESP), hill start assist (HSA), collision avoidance (AEB), control ” blind spots (BSD), tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) and others. In addition, the Voyah Passion features L3 level intelligent autopilot technology that can autonomously steer the vehicle on highways at speeds up to 120 km/h. Off-road performance
Voyah Passion is an electric sedan that is designed for a comfortable and dynamic ride on paved roads. The sedan has good handling thanks to all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension and electronic systems. It also received several ride modes: Eco, Normal, Sport and Custom, which affect the performance of the engines, suspension and steering. “Chinese” is not designed for off-road driving, as it has a low ground clearance (121 mm) and a large wheelbase (3000 mm). In addition, the sedan did not receive underbody and battery protection from damage. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid driving on dirt roads, snow, ice and deep puddles.
Start of sales
Voyah Passion has been available for order in Russia since April 2023. The first deliveries of vehicles began in June 2023. The sedan is produced at the Dongfeng plant in China and shipped to Russia under the SKD scheme (semi-dismantled kits). In Russia, it is planned to sell about 1,000 sedan units per year.
