As expected, the new model, production of which was launched at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, costs from 2,499,000 rubles and is available in two equipment levels. Crossovers have already arrived at dealerships and from today they can be bought in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Voronezh, Samara, Tolyatti and Nizhny Novgorod.

The Xcite brand was registered by the St. Petersburg Automobile Plant (this is the name of the former Nissan production) for new Russian-assembled models. The first of them to go on retail sale was the mid-size crossover X-Cross 7. Under the hood it has a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine that develops 147 horsepower. The engine works in tandem with a continuously variable transmission, and the X-Cross 7 has only front-wheel drive. The crossover accelerates from zero to “hundreds” in 9.8 seconds, with a top speed of 186 kilometers per hour.

Other characteristics are also given: the crossover’s ground clearance is 190 millimeters (like the Haval Jolion), the wheel size is 18 inches, dimensions are 4500x1842x1705, and trunk volume is 475 liters or 1500 liters with the second row seats folded.

Inside, the model has a seven-inch diagonal digital instrument panel and a ten-inch touchscreen multimedia system. The central armrest is equipped with a box with a cooling function, there is an electric power steering, and the steering wheel itself is trimmed with leather and is adjustable for reach and height. There are three USB connectors on the front and rear rows.

The Enjoy equipment list includes an electric tailgate, keyless entry and remote key start, LED optics, dual-zone climate control and a six-speaker audio system. In addition, there is a “winter package” that includes a heated steering wheel, front and rear seats. The Techno version is distinguished by the presence of a panoramic roof, wireless charging for a smartphone, multi-colored atmospheric lighting and expanded adjustments for the driver and front passenger seats.

Safety systems include six airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist and driver fatigue monitoring.

The Xcite X-Cross 7 comes with a warranty of three years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
