The most devoted fans can honor the memory of the legendary pilot and showman in a very unusual way by purchasing a former Ken Block racing car. A Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS sedan went on sale on the Bring a Trailer site, which was rebuilt by Vermont SportsCar into a rally car for an American crew. True, there are certain, let’s say, nuances with the condition and documents of the car. For example, a car has unknown mileage, and this is just the beginning.

The American company built a rally car in 2006 on the basis of a 2004 car – the equipment was prepared according to the requirements of the Open Class category. On it, Ken Block and his regular rally co-driver, Italian Alex Gelsomino, participated in the X Games rally competition against Scotsman Colin McRae and American Travis Pastrana. The Impreza is equipped with a 2.0-liter boxer turbo engine, a 5-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive, as well as front and rear Cusco limited-slip differentials.

The car is equipped with an aluminum radiator and a GReddy front intercooler, a SPAL cooling fan, a Prodrive restrictor, a Bosch fuel pump, a MoTeC M880 engine control unit and a number of other components. Other tuning includes 15-inch Speedline Corse Rally wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force tires, AP brakes with Ferodo pads, Tilton balance control, Ohlins racing shocks, Cusco rear suspension arms, 20mm front and rear anti-roll bars, and sport steering rail.

The car does not have an odometer and its mileage is unknown, in addition, the car has problems with documents – after an accident in 2005, during which it was drowned, according to the Subaru documents, it is listed as damaged to the condition of junk. The seats and seat belts are out of homologation, but the sedan is technically sound and can be returned to race-ready condition. But inside the car, the buyer will find the autographs of Ken Block and Travis Pastrana. The going bid for a unique Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS is $45,500.
