The second-generation Acura TLX sedan underwent a light update, as part of which the list of standard equipment was expanded and the design was locally revised. The main visual marker of the 2024 model year cars is a radiator grille without a visible frame, like the Acura Type S Concept prototype. Her design depends on the version. For example, the TLX Type S has a mesh of diamond-shaped cells with thin walls, which improves air flow to the engine.

Regular TLXs, including the TLX A-Spec, come with 19-inch wheels. But for the TLX Type S they offer 20-inch ones. You can choose between Berlina Black double-spoke wheels or luxurious copper-colored wheels from the TLX Type S PMC Edition. The restyled sedan also received two new colors: Urban Gray Pearl can be ordered for the TLX A-Spec and TLX Type S; Liquid Carbon Metallic, which debuted on the MDX crossover, is available for the TLX with the Technology package.

There is nothing new in the range of engines. The TLX and TLX A-Spec sedans are equipped with a two-liter turbo-four (276 hp, 380 Nm) paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. The TLX Type S has a V6 3.0 turbo engine (360 hp, 480 Nm), a sports version of the gearbox and SH-AWD all-wheel drive with individual clutches on the rear wheels (an option for a regular sedan). The four-door also features Brembo brakes on the front axle and a Sport+ driving mode that has been recalibrated for quicker throttle response. The cars will begin arriving in American showrooms at the end of November.
