Schematic renderings show a low black roof, small rear-view mirrors, large wheels and an almost vertical front end. Dongfeng has not yet provided any details about the new product.

The cabin of the new pickup truck from Dongfeng and Nissan will most likely be a two-row one. As for the powertrain, the front design hints at an all-electric or hybrid powertrain. Be that as it may, so far the partners have not disclosed any details of the project or the premiere date.

Dongfeng

Dongfeng has been cooperating with Nissan for a long time, producing Japanese-based cars. The results of their collaboration are also available to Russians: in the summer, the Donfgeng DF6 pickup truck, also a copy of the Nissan Navara, appeared at dealers in Russia, and next year it will be joined by the Paladin SUV based on the 2018 Nissan Terra, which was presented in China in the summer.

Paladin will be one of the eight upcoming new products that Dongfeng has prepared for the Russian market.

In mid-November, sales of the V-Online crossover under the Venucia brand, launched by Dongfeng and Nissan, began in Russia. Aimed at a young audience, V-Online is built on Nissan X-Trail units and is offered in four trim levels starting at 3,180,000 rubles.
